Albino kangaroo Rene the Roo spotted in Australia's Namadgi National Park

A rare albino kangaroo has been spotted hopping around the Australian bush. The white marsupial has amazed experts who wonder how such a dazzling looking

creature could survive predators past a fe

w years old. The albino was spotted in Namadgi National Park in the south-west of the Austra宝多宝论坛高手心水 lian Capital Territory, southwest of Canberra. Parks ranger Brett McNamar

a told the Canberra Times:

The whole thing about natural selection is that you want to blend in. Grey kangaroos are grey fo

r a reason – the

y blend in with the rest of the environ

ment. From a distance it’s too hard to tell the sex of the roo which has been nicknamed Rene, although the sight of a large male sniffing around could be an indication that it is female. Mr McNamara added: That something like this can occur, I know it’s all a bit clichd, but literally a stone’s throw from the nation’s capital … what other national capital anywhere in the world could you do something like that? That’s what I reckon makes Canberra such an incredibly unique place.” Check out our cute pictures of an albino lion below. Albino LionView gallery
